Foundations of English Language Development
EGACE offers 6 Leveled ESL classes from Pre-Literacy (Level 0) through Advanced (Level 5/6).
These classes are all in-person on campus at our Geber Road Site.
Students are placed based on their entry assessment (CASAS) reading score according to NRS Level.
Citizenship Preparation Courses
EGACE Offers Two Mutli-Level, In-person Classes
Preparation for the U.S. naturalization interview and examination.
Overview of American history and government, geography, and the duties and rights of citizenship.
Study of basic written and spoken English in a context specific to the naturalization application, interview, and civics questions.
This class is for students of all English levels who are eligible to become U.S. Citizens.
NEW! Online Distance Learning
EGACE is excited to expand our English Language Development courses via online learning this school year.
Classes are teacher-led and meet over Zoom on Monday/Wednesday afternoon
Students placed according to level (bi-level classes)
Students will need an internet connected device-preferably a tablet or computer.
All CASAS assessments will be proctored at our Gerber Site
