ESL for Paraeducators
Learning English? This companion course is designed for you! This class is recommended to support students who are learning/improving their English skills in writing, grammar and vocabulary so that they can be successful in the Education work environment, and includes specific skills needed for Paraeducator job opportunities. Computer Skills (Basic)
This course focuses on the basics of using an office computer. How to open, create and save documents. How to edit and send documents. Keyboarding basics. Click here to register.

Learn to better leverage MS Word and Excel, the two most-used programs in the workforce. Click here to register.
ABE Math and Reading--Test Prep
State Licensure of Paraeducators requires candidates to have the following:
- High school diploma or the equivalent, and
- Two years of college (48 units), or
- A. A. degree (or higher), or
- Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
This class prepares candidates for the local assessment of math and reading.

- A. A. degree (or higher), or
- Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
