The EGACE Workforce Training Department offers free, 80-hour computer technology classes for those entering a competitive workforce. You will earn the basics needed to start building your understanding and use of the computer and applications you can use at work.
Co-enrollment in the Job Center will also allow students access to Northstar computer literacy applications. Students will take an official typing exam in the Job Center.
You MUST attend a registration and testing appointment! Complete the form below!
After you complete the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours regarding your orientation and testing appointment.

In today's competitive job market, Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (MOS) is more important than ever, providing globally-recognized, industry-endorsed, evidence of skills mastery will help you increase your job opportunities, improve efficiency and productivity, enhance your credibility and marketability and demonstrates that you are current with the latest software applications! This advanced Microsoft Word class will prepare you for the MOS certification exam.
Prerequisite: Students should have completed Computer and Word basics course. Suitability for this class will be determined at a Computer Technology orientation appointment.
12-week program – 72 hour class
Class has been postponed until spring.
$100 online book fee, plus Certiport Certification Fee
Payment for online book fee will be paid at orientation and registration appointment.
