GED® and HiSET® Testing
California has approved the use of two high school equivalency tests, GED® and HiSET®, for the purpose of receiving a California High School Equivalency Certificate. GED® and HiSET® are timed tests aligned to Common Core State Standards. They test high school knowledge of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
