  • For more than 50 years, Elk Grove Adult and Community Education (EGACE) has responded to the ever-changing learning needs of our growing South Sacramento County and Elk Grove communities. The 1960s brought the beginnings of adult education. It started with three groups of parents.
 
Our staff, teachers, and administrators will treat you like family; we invite you to come in and meet with us, you’ll see why a lot of students recommend our school to their friends and come back to say “Hi.”

Our students are all unique, but most will agree that EGACE CTI made them feel like they fit right in thanks to the family-like atmosphere you can find in all of our programs.
 
CTI students are made up from a diverse background:
  • The average age of our student is 32 years old and our age range is 18-62 years old.
  •  Our students are 25% Asian, 27% Hispanic, 25% Mixed Heritage, and 14% Black or African American.
  •  Over 45% of our students are currently employed and 48% of income for the year is $15,000 to $50,000.
  • 68% of our students have at least a high school diploma and/or some college and no degree.
  • 45% of our students reside in South Sacramento and the Elk Grove communities

EGACE holds full accreditation status from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Do you offer Job Placement?

Yes, EGACE’s CTI offers Job Placement assistant upon completion of the program.  When you come into the office, please ask about our Job Placement Program. 

Do you offer Externships?

Yes, EGACE offers externship opportunities.  Externship opportunities vary from program to program.  Please visit the program you are interested in and review the individual externship opportunities.

How much does it cost to attend CTI?

Tuition varies by program of study. Education is the most important investment you can make in your future. You also can talk to an Intake Representative to discuss the costs of your chosen program.

What is the class schedule?

CTI offers morning, afternoon or evening classes for many programs. When you meet with your Intake Representative, they can give you specific information on the programs that you’re most interested in.
